Joseph Clay (1864-1893) - was living at Brixworth in 1871, he got married in the Ipswich registration district in 1885.
Sarah (1808-1886) - was living at Bedford with her son Thomas in 1871. No later sighting until her death in Northampton in 1886.
Sarah (1831-1904) - was living at Warwick in 1871 and at Tooting, London in 1891.
Sarah Ann (christened 1841) - was living with her husband William at Brixworth in 1871 but no longer in his household in 1881. She emigrated to Australia, perhaps before the 1881 census.
William (1860-1892) - son of William and Sarah Ann, he joined the Army and served in the 4th regiment of foot. He was stationed in Jamaica at the time of the 1881 census.
