Silver Street, Brixworth

The modern single-storey extension to Stable Cottage is on part of the site of the one occupied by Thomas Howcutt (1776-1844) in 1841 and by his son John (1801-1859) in 1851. The Howcutt cottage was demolished in the 1960s. A picture of the front of another part of Stable Cottage appears below.
