Rosa Brown (Howcutt) Joyner (1906-2008) Rosa Brown Howcutt was born on 15 December 1906 in Chowan county, North Carolina, the daughter of James Walter Howcott and Rosa B (Brown) Howcott. She and her husband George Westley Joyner are survived by a large family of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She died on 12 October 2008. Click here to read a tribute.

Dorothy Alice (Howcutt) Edison (1909-2006) Dorothy Alice Howcutt was born on 10 January 1909 at Rothwell, Northamptonshire, the only daughter of Mark and Emma Eliza (Bott) Howcutt. In 1932, she married Charles Edison (1905-1995) at Lambeth. Their son John Pearson Edison passed away in 2002. She died at Epsom hospital, Surrey on 1 December 2006.
