Dorothy Alice (Howcutt) Edison (1909-2006) Dorothy Alice Howcutt was born on 10 January 1909 at Rothwell, Northamptonshire, the only daughter of Mark and Emma Eliza (Bott) Howcutt. In 1932, she married Charles Edison (1905-1995) at Lambeth. Their son John passed away in 2002. She died at Epsom hospital, Surrey on 1 December 2006.
