of the estate of “William Howcott of South Croxton lately" [this is
followed by a capital “S” which was crossed out] was granted to Anne
Linthwaite, his “natural and lawful daughter”. The bond that she would
administer the estate as required was provided by William Linthwaite of South
Croxton, farmer and Andrew Tilley of T[?]on, Leicestershire, farmer on 21
January 1701/2.
